Bei Logical Block Addressing (Logische Block Adressierung) werden Sektoren von Massenspeichern von 0 aufsteigend adressiert. Das Gegenstück zu LBA ist das ältere CHS.

Umrechnung von LBA zu CHS:

   C =   LBA  /  (mH*mS)
